Strong and Mighty he will be! – Baby J | Suffolk, VA Infant Photographer |

Meet Sweet Baby J.  This little guy with those gorgeous bright  eyes has a BIG name that means Strong and Mighty.  I love it!  At just 3 months he’s taking in the world around him and learning new things daily.  I truly enjoyed photographing this little guy and his beautiful family. S and  L I hope you enjoy your sneak peek!

Baby D is Here! | Suffolk, Va Newborn Photographer on the Road – Winterville, NC|

Welcome to the big world Baby D!   He’s adorable, sweet, perfect, precious, cute, beautiful, handsome………and I could keep going on.   When I caught my 1st  glimpse of this little guy he was resting so peacefully on his Daddy’s chest where I suspect he’ll spend many more precious moments like this and his Mommy is JUST GETTING STARTED with all of the love, snuggles, and kisses that she’ll give her little love.  I must mention that Baby D is a  FIRST!   He’s their first child and the first grandchild on BOTH sides of his family.  You know what that means… Lots of extra, extra, extra special love and attention.  Congratulations D and K!  It was such a pleasure photographing your sweet baby boy.

Welcome Little Miss C! | Suffolk, VA Newborn Photographer |

Meet Little Miss C.  Isn’t she just too cute?  This little ray of sunshine was just 13 days new and so tiny and sleepy.  She was such a doll and her itty-bitty, teeny-tiny squeaks were just too precious.  Mom and Dad are settling in and getting used to having a new little one to love and while Big sister  originally wanted a bunny, she is thrilled to have a little sister.  I really enjoyed this session…snuggling babies is always fun but dressing her up with girly flowers and bands made it all the more fun.  Welcome Little Miss C and Congratulations to the P family.  I’m so happy for you.

Happy Birthday Mrs. W! | Windsor, NC Photographer |

It was such an honor to photograph Mrs. W who is celebrating her 87th birthday! That’s right…. I said 87!   Look at her? Isn’t she beautiful? Don’t let the numbers fool you – no-no. She is as vibrant as she looks in these images. Mrs. W had grand birthday celebration with her friends and family.   Happy Birthday Mrs. W!

Introducing Baby G! | Windsor, NC Newborn Photographer |

I proudly present to you – Baby G!   He is  the sweetest little bundle of love  and he’s winning everyone’s hearts.    Mommy’s glowing as she cuddles her sweet little doll baby,  Daddy’s Beaming with pride and joy for his little man, and Big Sister is so happy that “HER” baby is FINALLY here.  Their family is complete and perfect.  Enough of my rambling and on to the goodies.  Look at all of this cuteness!

A SUPER room for a SUPER baby! Mural painted by Marlon Westin and that awesome blanket made by  Shirelle Knox-Kennedy.

Miss L is finally here! | Suffolk, VA Newborn Photographer |

Have you ever been really excited about something and then find out that it’s been delayed or postponed until a later unknown date?  Well that’s the story with Little Miss L!  Just when we thought she was about to make her grand entrance to the big world and everyone was getting all excited, she decided to bake to perfection for just a few more days.  Imagine her parents anticipation.  The wait was worthwhile and I know her mom, dad, and big brother couldn’t be more thrilled to finally meet their precious new baby girl.  She was a perfect little model for her session.  There were a few times that I “bothered” her when changing poses and she cried a bit, but just like she started, she STOPPED ….and resumed sleeping like nothing ever happened.   Congratulations C, B, and L – I hope you enjoy your sneak peek.  I truly enjoyed photographing your beautiful baby girl.

G’s Going to Be a Mommy! | VA Beach, VA Maternity Photographer |

Isn’t this momma-to-be just gorgeous! I was so happy when we reconnected and I found out that she was having her 1st annnnnnd that she lives near me! I know G from when I was teaching! She was just an “itty bitty middle schooler” – a model student I must add. I still find it hard to believe that while I’m still 29 😀 , she’s all grown up now and eagerly awaiting to meet her baby boy. As you can imagine our session took a little longer than normal due to all of our chatting and catching up with each other. Daddy’s off serving our country, but we couldn’t leave him out, so Mom bought along a little something of his for the session…After all the months, it still smelled like him when she put it on – Imagine her smile. I could go on and on talking about G, but I’ll contain myself and end with “I know that she will be a wonderful mother and I can’t wait to meet her little guy. I’m so happy to have gotten the chance to photograph her. G and J – Enjoy your sneak peek!

Little Miss K – Newborn Sweetness | Colerain, NC Newborn Photographer |

Welcome to the world Little Miss K! She’s a real living doll and so so sweet, so calm and content….and as pretty as can be. Absolute LOVE at first sight! I had so much fun photographing this beautiful baby girl and her family and I’m so excited to share a sneak peek of this session!

Counting down! | Windsor, NC Maternity Photography |

After posting a teaser on FB, I had to share more of this gorgeous mommy. It seems like just yesterday that she made the great announcement that she was expecting and now she’s counting down the days until this little bundle of love arrives.   Their home is full of  love, joy, anticipation, and excitement to meet their newest member…….and the baby gear is rolling in.  It was such a great pleasure photographing this beautiful mommy and her growing family.  Oh, and I’m counting down too!

I’m On A Mission!!! | Colerain, NC Family Photographer |

I’ve noticed the photos that I have the least of are of some dearest to me.  They are always either too busy to have their photos taken, not dressed right, hair isn’t done,  the time isn’t right, or they’re camera shy,  and the list goes on… I wanted PORTRAITS and I decided to take action.  They were TRICKED into having their photos taken.  I quietly set up my things and invited them to come where I was.  My dear grandmother saw what looked like a very comfy chair and gladly sat down.  She was clueless as to what was about to happen.   I was ALL smiles at this point because I wasn’t really expecting it to be THIS easy.  I had her just where I wanted.  Next in line came my parents and I wasn’t taking any excuses this time.  Nope…not at all.  They were available, they were dressed, and I wasn’t taking “NO” for an answer.   Even though I only had a precious few moments to photograph them, I’m so happy with the end results.  My mission isn’t complete though.  There’s still one more very special man – my grandfather that I MUST photograph.  Until then let me introduce you to some of my love ones – My Parents and My Grandmother!
