My little guys and I recently participated in the 2013 Suffolk, VA March of Dimes.  Besides being a great day to be out, it was also great to march for such a wonderful cause.  There were lots of little ones and many groups, families, and organizations from the area as well as a few of our furry friends who participated in this year’s march and all of the fun and games.  To see more images that I captured from that day just click on the following link .

Where does the time go?  It seems like Miss ME was just a baby, but  now she’s 4 YEARS old.  ME may be little, but she celebrated BIG!  The entire month of March was hers!  She celebrated with classmates….and a trip to the beach where she celebrated with her own family….. and THEN there was the birthday finale – a skate party where family, classmates, and friends all attended.  ME was all decked out in a cute pink dress, and fun striped leggings,  colorful beads and jewels,and her new in-line skates – Pink of course.  ME even made sure her parents and brother were beautiful/handsome on her day.  She chose yellow jeans, pink shirt adorned with a yellow flower, green headband and pink chucks for her mom and  outfits complete with bow ties for her dad and brother. There were glow necklaces and buttons for everyone.  Family, friends, classmates, cupcakes, pizza, and skating….What a day!  On the last Saturday of HER month, I can say that ME was one very happy 4 yr old and I do believe that her birthday wish came true.

I’m happy to announce that Little Miss E is the 2013 Cute Face!

I’m so happy that I was able to photograph the R family. There was the holiday rush, busy work schedules, rainy weather, travel, and cold temperatures but we made it happen! You would NEVER guess that this beautiful family met me on a very chilly morning for their session. There were no sleepy faces here and with coats and blankets within reach the little cuties didn’t even have a chance to shiver. Mom was just as radiant as always and Dad and Big Brother came with handsome smiles and tickles. R family – Rain, work, travel, holiday hustle, cold weather didn’t prevent your session and I’m so happy that I was able to work with you!

What a perfect Saturday evening for a session at the park with the beautiful M family. I’d been to this park before, but only the play area for my own little guys to play. Not this time – We explored parts of the park that were a bit off the beaten path and perfect for some gorgeous family photos. I didn’t tell them before hand that we’d do a bit of trekking in the woods, but they were such good sports and the boys seemed to really enjoy it. They didn’t even ask about the playground equipment! M Family – You were such a pleasure to work with. Thank you for choosing ME!

An unseasonably warm evening in November and a beautiful location were perfect for this amazing session. There were lots of giggles, love, hugs and big smiles. Handsome Little Mr. X wasn’t camera shy at all and he and his beautiful mommy’s love definitely shined during this session. There is nothing like the love between a mother and a son! Thank you L and X for letting me capture just a little bit of your love on that warm November evening.

Thankful for these two little guys.  Oh how I love them.

I’m so excited to share this beautiful family with you.     A gorgeous family, and a perfect location on a beautiful evening! ………and mosquitos!  Lots of them!!! But even those pesky creatures didn’t prevent us from getting beautiful photos.  We sang, clapped, and did all kinds of silly things to entertain Little Miss B and her sweet baby brother Mr. J.  I’m no singer, but can spout off the tunes to Elmo’s world and a few other kiddie songs.  I found out though that it was the actual MUSIC from a nearby family event that got Little Miss B really moving and smiling …. and Little Mr. J – well he was showing off his fancy new walking skills and enjoying being out and all the little treasures to be found on the ground.   I’m happy that I was able to photograph this beautiful family and would like to welcome them to the area!

And because I love that it doesn’t always take a big smile to make a BEAUTIFUL image – one more of Little Miss B.

It seems that not too long ago, Mr. A was just learning to walk, chasing Leroy the orange cat, and riding in a red wagon.  Now he’s a young man who enjoys drawing, hanging with his friends, spending time with family, shopping – I believe he can find a deal with his eyes closed.  He’s a smart young man. He loves animals and aspires to be a veterinarian. There’s no more red wagon… he’s DRIVING now…and with begging and bribery I couldn’t convince him to take a photo in the wagon.  HAHA!  He’s a cool teen – No more little guy.    Time does fly! I’m so happy I was able to photograph Mr. A during his summer break.  Mr. A – I hope you’re off to a wonderful school year!

11th Grade – Here He Comes! (I’m loving the Chucks!)

And YES… sometimes he does forget that he’s supposed to be a tough guy and he SMILES.  He has a beautiful smile.  :-)

He. Is. Just. So. Handsome!  You must agree!  While my time with Mr. G was way too short,  I did get some awesome shots.  He showed me his serious side, but I also saw and captured the very happy side of a little boy all ready for some pool fun.   Little Mr. G has some great opportunities coming his way.  He is one of Wilhemina’s newest Models!  So be on the look out for this handsome little guy!  Mr. G – I hope that this experience is the best and that it opens up new doors and endless possibilities for you.
