Please join me in welcoming another pretty little lady – Miss K!  She’s as cute as she can BEE.  I love this little outfit that mom had picked out for her – perfect for a warm spring day!  Miss K wasn’t too sleepy when we started, but after a meal some warm snuggle time,  she was soon in dreamland.  As always I enjoyed working with Miss K and getting some precious baby cuddle time too!  Welcome Miss K!

I had the pleasure of photographing the sweetest little bundle of joy before the holiday rush!  Miss A wasn’t due until the very end of the yr, but she had other plans and decided to join her family just in time for Thanksgiving!  She may have arrived early, but there was not much hanging around in NICU for Miss A.  She was soon at home to be loved by her beautiful family.  Talk about a wonderful reason to be grateful and the best Christmas gift for her family.  Welcome Little Miss A!!!

FINALLY! I can share a few holiday photos.  I didn’t want to share anyone’s holiday card photos before they were all sent out to family and friends, so I impatiently held off.  It was such an honor to photograph each of these beautiful families once again and it is my pleasure to share a few here.  I hope that everyone had a very Merry Christmas!

It surely was nice seeing Mr. J and his family again.  You may remember Mr. J’s session when he was just a few months old and just starting to take in the world around him.  He’s just as handsome now, but he is not just watching any more!  It didn’t take long before he warmed up to having his photo taken and before I knew it, he was showing me his big jumps and how fast he could run and his beautiful smiles.  It was a great session with Mr. J and his family.

Join me in welcoming Little Miss R!  This sweet little lady came calmly into this world and was just as calm for her 1st photo session.  She was awake just long enough for me to capture some amazing open eye shots and even some smiles and then she nodded off to enjoy a nice nap.  Little Miss R is number 3 of 3 beautiful little girls in this family and I can already imagine all of the fun times and late night giggles in store for them.  For now though – Mom, Dad, and her big sisters are just enjoying the sweet snuggles, cuddles, and love of having a newborn baby girl to complete their family.

I don’t often share personal photos here, but I just had to share “a few” snaps from my little guys’ 7th birthday celebration.  A & A woke up to a room filled with balloons and a birthday banner – they look forward to this every year.  As much as I and probably every other parent…would rather not go to Chuck E Cheese, we knew that going there would make them happy.  Their favorite food, cake + classmates and cousins = happy boys!  They enjoyed EVERY. SINGLE. MINUTE…  Today when I asked them about their 7th birthday they summed it up as SUPER DUPER!   Thank you to all who attended and to those who sent birthday wishes via phone, text, and on FB and thank you to my nephew Anfernee for taking over and getting lots of good snaps from their happy celebration.

Welcome to the official blog post for Cute Face 2013 – Little Miss E.  We waited until the weather was warmer to schedule her prize session…..only to have much cooler weather roll in that day.  Once Miss E saw the tutu, crown, and flowers, she was determined to be a princess.  She gave me lots of pretty smiles and funny faces.  We couldn’t leave Mom and Big Sister T out and were able to get some beautiful family shots.  So, despite the cool temperatures we had an awesome session!  Now for the goodies!

My little guys and I recently participated in the 2013 Suffolk, VA March of Dimes March for Babies.  Besides being a great day to be out, it was also great to march for such a wonderful cause.  There were lots of little ones and many groups, families, and organizations from the area as well as a few of our furry friends who participated in this year’s march and all of the fun and games.

I’m so happy that I was able to photograph the R family. There was the holiday rush, busy work schedules, rainy weather, travel, and cold temperatures but we made it happen! You would NEVER guess that this beautiful family met me on a very chilly morning for their session. There were no sleepy faces here and with coats and blankets within reach the little cuties didn’t even have a chance to shiver. Mom was just as radiant as always and Dad and Big Brother came with handsome smiles and tickles. R family – Rain, work, travel, holiday hustle, cold weather didn’t prevent your session and I’m so happy that I was able to work with you!

What a perfect Saturday evening for a session at the park with the beautiful M family. I’d been to this park before, but only the play area for my own little guys to play. Not this time – We explored parts of the park that were a bit off the beaten path and perfect for some gorgeous family photos. I didn’t tell them before hand that we’d do a bit of trekking in the woods, but they were such good sports and the boys seemed to really enjoy it. They didn’t even ask about the playground equipment! M Family – You were such a pleasure to work with. Thank you for choosing ME!
